Glo Abandons Naija Sings For X-Factor

Globacom has stopped sponsorship of the singing Reality show 'Naija sings'.

According to the information on Glo's website:"the show was aimed at developing and rewarding Nigeria's brightest and boldest musical talents", but it seems the aim and objectives have not been met.

Rather,the telecommunication giant has pulled its weight on X-Factor with M.I as one of the judges and OAP Toolz Oniru as the host.

An insider however said,"we had a three year contract with M-NET,and its just normal for the parties to either renew the contract or not.It is purely business and it doesn't have to with how the show has fared."
