Jim Iyke's Reality Show Premieres

 
The much awaited reality show by Nollywood's bad boy Jim Iyke titled 'Unscripted' debuted yesterday April 18th 2013 on Africa Magic Channel 151 at 5.30pm and a repeat at 8pm. Jim Iyke hopes the reality show will have a better insight of his controversial nature, "I have gone through numerous misinterpretation by the free press and bloggers", he said.

Jim Iyke believes "Unscripted is all raw emotions".

She was received at the presidential villa in the Federal Capital Territory by Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), Dr. Reuben Abati.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Launches in Nigeria April 25

Samsung's flagship smartphone and one of the most advanced smartphones around, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch in Nigeria on April 25, 2013. This is according to ongoing online campaign by Samsung in Nigeria. Samsung Mobile Nigeria has also changed its Facebook cover photo to reflect the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch mood.

It is not clear whether the smartphone will be available off-the-shelf from April 25 or just the launch event. However, the two top Nigeria online retailers, Jumia and Konga, have began pre-order of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and have put the shipping date for the device for May 10, 2013.


MTN, Nigeria's largest mobile operator have also began pre-order of the Galaxy S4, but did not specify a delivery date. All mentioned retailers in this article, offer the Samsung Galaxy S4 at a price of 108,000 Naira ($681). If the phone goes on sale April 25, it will definitely disrupt preorders, which leads me to believe that only the launch will take place on April 25. However, I posted a query on the Samsung Mobile Nigeria Facebook page and will update this article in due time.

Despite being slightly smaller than its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 features a larger 5.0-inch Super AMOLED display and top-notch software and hardware. It features a great camera, super fast internet, some innovative software features.

Etisalat Crashes Blackberry Tariffs - Introduces Blackberry Absolute

Etisalat has scored another first after been able to crash the tariff for voice calls in Nigeria since 2009 by going further to crash the tariff of its BB plans.

The old Social plan has been discontinued and the Full BIS replaced with Blackberry Absolute Plan with the Complete retained.

Also the plans have both voice and non-voice variants. The non-voice you can have side by side other main packages while the voice plan is a standalone plan that gives subscribers advantage of making calls at a 20 kobo per second to all networks in Nigeria and 5 international destinations viz; US, Canada, India, China and Uk (fixed lines).

Globacom has stopped sponsorship of the singing Reality show 'Naija sings'.

According to the information on Glo's website:"the show was aimed at developing and rewarding Nigeria's brightest and boldest musical talents", but it seems the aim and objectives have not been met.

Rather,the telecommunication giant has pulled its weight on X-Factor with M.I as one of the judges and OAP Toolz Oniru as the host.

Dino Melaye Reacts To Assasination Attempt

 

Yesterday evening, the Former House of Reps member and actress Bisi Ibidapo Obe's alleged baby daddy escaped an assassination attempt on his life in Abuja.

He was shot at several times in his car by motorists driving a Golf in Abuja City's Central Business District . Luckily his car was bullet-proof and he wasn't hit.
